Live Tanks & Filtration System

Our live system allows us to keep tens of thousands of pounds of lobster, crabs, oysters, scallops, mussels and clams in wet storage system that mimics their natural environment. We utilize a closed circulation system that is HACCP approved by the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency). A complex network of piping, pumps, filters, cooling towers, ultraviolet sterilizers keeps the water quality at its peak condition. Our water comes from approved sources and is tested regularly on site to ensure optimum holding conditions. This live system permits our bivalve processing team to pack the liveliest clams, mussels, oysters and scallops possible for our customers all across North America and Asia.
